Enrolling

As a state-integrated Christian school, we are able to accept all families who are looking for high-quality, biblically-based education. However, the Ministry of Education requires families to be identified as either “preference” or “non-preference”. This identification does not in any way impact how students are treated once they are enrolled. Please see below to enrol and for information regarding Attendance Dues.

If your child is starting school as a 5 year old, we have a new entrant transition that ensures a smooth pathway into school. This involves a member of staff visiting your child's ECE and arranging two to three visits at school before they begin at TBCS.

Communication is done through HERO, our online platform. From here you receive newsletters and notices. We also have a Facebook page, and we're also more than happy to talk on the phone.

Tasman Bay Christian School offers a free bus service for students. Our buses service Motueka, Richmond and Māpua, while our school van provides transport from the Moutere Hills.

Attendance Dues

Last updated November 2021

Attendance Dues are compulsory payments which are passed on to the Proprietors and are used for the capital upgrading of school property and insurance of the buildings.

Attendance dues are $300 per child per year (for the first two children only) and are calculated from the beginning of the month that your child starts school.
